Multimedia over Coax Alliance standards for home (MoCA Home™) and access (MoCA Access™) provide low latency and security for working, learning and streaming over coax.
MoCA® is a global member-driven, non-profit Alliance developing multi-gigabit coax connectivity standards. MoCA members provide multi-gigabit coax connectivity products and services for internet, voice, and video to homes and businesses worldwide. MoCA member companies include global MSOs, Telcos, Satellite companies, OEMs and Semiconductor companies.
MoCA® provides a forum and environment where Alliance members meet to develop multi-gigabit coaxial connectivity standards. MoCA and its members also meet developers and providers of related products and services so that MoCA, as an Alliance, can identify current and future requirements for interoperability and general usability. MoCA offers a certification process with uniform test procedures for products that use MoCA Home and MoCA Access standards to ensure interoperability while protecting the needs of consumers and increasing competition among vendors.
MoCA also fosters competition in the development of new products and services based on MoCA Home and MoCA Access standards in conformance with all applicable antitrust laws and regulations.
MoCA works collaboratively with members through the MoCA Marketing Work Group to promote MoCA and its standards, MoCA Home and MoCA Access.
