AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS: August 18, 2007�Satnews Daily�There are SO many new products being released for this year�s IBC exposition in Amsterdam that tie in with the satellite industry, we will present this information to our readers in our daily news in the IBC VIEWS section. Today�s product lineup includes:

Latens will not only be demo�ing their range of Conditional Access (CA) solutions for cable, IPTV, DTT and satellite, but will be debuting a new IPTV Service Delivery Platform. Integrated will be the company�s CA security with a new IPTV management system, all of which addresses middleware scalability and flexibility issues. On stand demos will include Latens� IPCAS and FCAS CA offerings, BCAS CA system, as well as info on how to efficiently protect hybrid networks and digital cable networks.

The newly launched microwave communications arm from GigaSat, called Giga-Com, will be introducing a range of microwave links at IBC. One product is the result of work done by GigaSat and Tandberg Television, resulting in the MLV-T series. The MLV-T is a split 2-box outside broadcast (EFP) microwave link with the RF head units packaged for long-term tripod mounted outdoor use. Frequency bands from 1.5 to 23Ghz are available. All is packed in a 2RU rack mounting chassis.

Not only is RF Magic now part of Entropic Communications, but you�ll have the opportunity to learn about simultaneous reception of multiple channels from multiple satellites via a single cable at IBC. Entropic will be demo�ing their 3rdgen Channel Stacking Switch (CSS) IC solution. Entropic is also a founding member of the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA).
