San Ramon, Calif., June 24, 2008 - MoCA continues to add to its roster of worldwide digital TV equipment vendors with the addition of Pace plc (LSE: PIC), the leading independent developer of digital TV technologies for the global pay TV industry.

Pace provides a variety of set-top boxes enabling service providers around the world to rapidly and seamlessly roll out new services further enhancing the pay TV subscriber experience.

"Pace has a well deserved reputation for delivering innovative products enabling network operators to introduce value added services to their customers," said Charles Cerino, president of MoCA. "Their membership really helps position MoCA as a truly global standard."

"MoCA aligns well with Pace's goal of using open standards-based technologies in providing innovative and flexible set-top box solutions," said Pace Americas' vice president of technology, Chris Dinallo. In doing so, both the operators and subscribers benefit from non-proprietary mechanisms."
